What Is the Land of Serenity Like? What Is There, and What Is Life Like There?(Türkçesi Altta)

What Is the Land of Serenity Like? What Is There, and What Is Life Like There?

One day, someone may ask you:

“Describe the Land of Serenity to me. What is there? What is life like there?”

It is not easy to answer this question.

Because human beings try to understand an existence they have not seen by starting from the life they know. In the life we know, there are homes, roads, seas, skies, trees, people, cities, and countless living beings. We measure time, we grow old, we work, we become tired, we rejoice, we become sad, and eventually our life comes to an end.

The Land of Serenity is not an ordinary place that can be explained by the limits of the world known to human beings.

In the Povyades understanding, the Land of Serenity can be thought of as a place of life where a person finds serenity, peace, and security within the existence created by the Creator.

However, there is an important point that must be kept in mind when describing it:

We should not describe things about the Land of Serenity that we do not know as though we know them.

Because human imagination may be limitless; but it is not possible to say that we have comprehended all of the existence created by the Creator with the human mind.

Therefore, when describing the Land of Serenity, we can create a description based on the principles we know.

What is at the foundation of the Land of Serenity?

The most important characteristic of the Land of Serenity is contained in its name:

Serenity.

Serenity does not simply mean that there are no conflicts.

Serenity includes many meanings together, such as:

  • a decrease in fear,

  • the disappearance of insecurity,

  • the absence of injustice,

  • people not harming one another,

  • the painful form of loneliness coming to an end,

  • being at peace with oneself,

  • being able to feel the meaning of life,

  • and having a sincere devotion to the Creator.

For this reason, it would be incomplete to think of the Land of Serenity merely as a place with a beautiful landscape.

The real beauty is in life itself.

What kind of life is there?

In the life of this world, human life is surrounded by many limitations.

A person is born.

A person grows.

A person works.

A person may become ill.

A person grows old.

A person may lose loved ones.

A person may experience financial difficulties.

A person may be afraid.

A person may suffer injustice.

A person may become lonely.

A person may have disagreements with other people.

All of these may be part of human life.

When we think about the Land of Serenity, the first question that naturally comes to mind is:

“What would life be like without these things?”

We can begin describing the Land of Serenity from this point.

The foundation of life there is security.

A person does not constantly feel under threat.

A person does not live in fear that someone else will harm them.

Jealousy, hostility, and the desire to dominate do not determine people's lives.

Instead of using one another, people value one another.

How do people treat one another there?

In this world, people often evaluate one another according to their appearance, what they possess, their position in society, or their opinions.

In the understanding of the Land of Serenity, however, a person's value is not measured by these things.

Whether a person is rich or poor, powerful or weak, or whether they have an important position in society does not determine their value.

Being human is valuable in itself.

Therefore, respect is expected to be at the foundation of relationships in the Land of Serenity.

People listen to one another.

They try to understand one another.

They respect each other's freedom.

No one tries to force their own belief or opinion upon another person.

Because true faith cannot be created through coercion.

Is there freedom there?

When thinking about the Land of Serenity, one of the most important concepts is freedom.

A human being does not want to be free only physically.

A person wants to think.

A person wants to believe.

A person wants to ask questions.

A person wants to make decisions according to their own conscience.

A person wants to love.

A person wants to speak without fear.

Therefore, freedom in the Land of Serenity should not be understood merely as being able to go wherever one wishes.

Freedom of conscience, freedom of thought, and freedom of belief are also part of serenity.

However, freedom does not mean the freedom to harm another person.

When one person's freedom begins to disregard the lives of other people, serenity is disturbed.

Therefore, in the Land of Serenity, freedom and responsibility should be considered together.

Are there homes there?

It would not be right to answer this question by saying, “There are definitely homes like this.”

Because we do not have to carry our understanding of homes in this world into the Land of Serenity exactly as it is.

However, it is possible to imagine that there are living spaces where people can feel that they belong and feel at home.

Places where people can rest,

talk together,

spend time with their loved ones,

be alone peacefully when they wish to be alone,

watch nature,

and think.

These are possible ways of imagining such spaces.

But saying that these spaces are exactly like the homes of this world would go beyond what we know.

Perhaps the concept of a home in the Land of Serenity is very different from what we know.

Perhaps what a person seeks as “home” is actually the feeling of being safe and belonging somewhere.

Is there nature?

When the Land of Serenity is mentioned, people naturally imagine greenery, clean water, skies, trees, flowers, and wide landscapes.

These can create a beautiful description.

But the important thing is not only the beauty of the landscape.

In this world, even a person looking at the most beautiful landscape may not be able to fully enjoy its beauty if they are living in fear, pain, or loneliness.

Therefore, it is not enough to describe the beauty of the Land of Serenity only by saying:

“There are very beautiful gardens there.”

The real issue is this:

A person can live peacefully within that beauty.

If there is nature, nature is not a source of fear.

If there is water, it is a safe part of life.

If there is a sky, a person looks at it not with fear but with wonder.

If there is silence, it brings peace rather than loneliness.

How does time pass there?

This is one of the most difficult questions to answer about the Land of Serenity.

Because our understanding of time is connected to life in this world.

Morning comes.

Evening comes.

Days pass.

Months and years follow one another.

People grow old.

It is not possible to say with certainty that time in the Land of Serenity is the same as the time we know.

Therefore, we should not say things such as:

“There are this many hours there, people wake up at this time, and they eat at this time.”

as though these were certain facts.

Instead, we can say this:

In the Land of Serenity, the meaning of life is not like the constant rush of trying to keep up and consume in this world.

A person does not have to constantly hurry somewhere.

A person does not have to work constantly.

A person does not have to constantly think about the future in fear.

Life itself can be lived peacefully.

Is there work there?

In this world, working is a necessity for most people.

People work to meet their needs for shelter, food, and their families.

Some people find happiness in their work, while others are forced to work in jobs they do not want.

When thinking about life in the Land of Serenity, it may not be right to think of work only as a necessity that one endures in order to make a living.

Perhaps what people do there may have meanings such as:

learning,

creating,

helping,

discovering,

being creative,

and sharing with others.

Because the desire to create and learn does not come only from the need to earn money.

People are curious.

They want to learn.

They want to create things.

They want to be useful to others.

Life in the Land of Serenity may also have these aspects.

Eating, resting, and daily life

For human beings, food is not only a biological need.

Sitting around a table, talking with loved ones, and sharing are also beautiful parts of life.

Therefore, when describing the Land of Serenity, shared meals, good food, or time spent together can create a beautiful picture.

But here again, the same boundary should be maintained:

We cannot claim that we know exactly what these things are like.

Rather than assuming that life in the Land of Serenity has exactly the same needs as life in this world, we should accept that life there may have a very different order.

Is there illness and pain there?

This is one of the most important questions people ask about the Land of Serenity.

In this world, illness, aging, physical pain, and death are important realities of human life.

The meaning of the Land of Serenity becomes especially important from this perspective.

Because when we speak of “serenity,” we think of a life in which pain does not rule, fear does not control life, and a sense of security prevails.

Therefore, peace and well-being come to the forefront in the description of the Land of Serenity.

But here too, we should not present details that are not certain as though they were known facts.

From the Povyades perspective, what matters is not giving people imaginary details, but rather explaining the meaning carried by the Land of Serenity.

Can we be together with our loved ones?

One of the things people wonder about most concerning the Land of Serenity is their loved ones.

“Will my mother be there?”

“Will I be able to see my father?”

“Will I be able to be together with my spouse again?”

“Will I be able to live together with my children?”

Each of these questions touches the human heart.

Because people do not want to be separated from those they love.

When describing the Land of Serenity, we can speak of the hope of meeting loved ones again.

However, saying with certainty that particular people will definitely be there would mean making a definite judgment about something human beings cannot know.

Therefore, the more accurate expression is:

The Land of Serenity is the hope of a life in which love exists and the pain of separation does not determine human life.

Love does not lose its value there.

On the contrary, love may be considered one of the most important values of life.

Is there loneliness there?

The loneliness of this world and loneliness in the Land of Serenity may not be the same thing.

A person can feel lonely even among crowds.

Because loneliness is sometimes not the absence of people around us, but the feeling that we are not understood.

In the meaning of the Land of Serenity, however, it is expected that a person does not feel worthless, abandoned, or incomprehensible.

A person can be with others if they wish.

A person can also be alone if they wish.

But being alone is not the same as being abandoned.

This distinction is important.

Do people not argue there?

Where there are people, having different opinions is natural.

Thinking differently is not evil.

Everyone thinking in exactly the same way is not a requirement for serenity.

Serenity does not mean:

“Everyone must think like me.”

On the contrary, it means that differences do not turn into hostility.

People can think differently.

They can make different choices.

They can enjoy different things.

Yet they can respect each other's existence and freedom.

Therefore, the presence of differences in the Land of Serenity does not necessarily conflict with serenity.

How is the Creator experienced there?

At the center of Povyades is the infinite and one Creator.

The Creator has no form or image.

Therefore, when describing the Land of Serenity, it would not be right to describe the Creator as a physical being.

The existence of the Creator must be understood as being beyond human comprehension.

In the Land of Serenity, a person's devotion to the Creator is based not on fear, but on trust and love.

A person says:

“The Creator is One.”

And accepts this not merely as words, but as the foundation of their faith.

They believe with their mind.

They confirm with their heart.

Therefore, the greatest richness of the Land of Serenity is not material possessions, but the meaningful bond established with the Creator.

Is there no evil at all there?

Here, an important distinction must be made.

The existence of evil and the domination of evil are not the same thing.

In this world, human beings can choose between good and evil.

A person can choose to behave well or badly through their free will.

The Land of Serenity, as its name suggests, represents an existence in which evil does not determine the fundamental order of life.

A system in which people are constantly threatened by harm,

in which harming others is intended,

in which oppression is normalized,

and in which injustice is regarded as superiority,

cannot be the basis of serenity.

Is the Land of Serenity a description of heaven?

The answer to this question should be given carefully.

Equating the term “Land of Serenity” simply with the concept of heaven in other religions would not sufficiently explain Povyades' own understanding.

The Land of Serenity gains its meaning primarily within Povyades' own belief system.

Therefore, rather than equating it exactly with the descriptions of heaven in other religions, it is more appropriate to describe it as Povyades' own understanding of serenity concerning humanity's future and the Creator's creation.

There may be similarities.

But each belief has its own concepts that should be explained within its own integrity.

So, what is there in the Land of Serenity?

We can answer this question in two different ways.

In the sense of what we can understand:

There is peace.

There is security.

There is love.

There is respect.

There is freedom.

There is sharing.

There is harmony.

There is devotion to the Creator.

There is the feeling of being valued.

Regarding the details we do not know:

We do not know what the homes there are like.

We do not know exactly how nature looks.

We do not know what people's bodies are like.

We do not know how time works there.

We do not know how daily life is organized.

We should therefore not claim to have certain knowledge about such details.

Because knowing that we do not know is also part of the honesty of faith.

Why should we limit our imagination when describing the Land of Serenity?

Because human beings tend to fill the things they do not know with what they already know.

When we hear “sky,” we imagine a blue sky.

When we hear “garden,” we imagine trees and flowers.

When we hear “home,” we imagine the homes of this world.

Even when we hear “infinity,” we try to understand it by extending the time we already know.

Yet the Creator's creation may be much greater than human imagination.

Therefore, when describing the Land of Serenity, we can create a beautiful description, but we should not present it as though it were a definite geographical map.

The beauty of the Land of Serenity may be very different from anything human beings can imagine.

What might it feel like to live in the Land of Serenity?

Perhaps the best answer to this question is not to describe a landscape, but to describe a feeling.

Imagine waking up in the morning without fear.

Imagine not having to hide who you are.

Imagine not being looked down upon because of who you are.

Imagine not being excluded because of what you believe.

Imagine not constantly worrying about the people you love.

Imagine not constantly being afraid of what tomorrow will bring.

Imagine knowing that no one wants to harm you.

Imagine knowing that when you speak with someone, they will try to understand you.

And imagine feeling, within all of this, that you are part of the life created by the Creator.

This is where the meaning of the Land of Serenity begins to emerge.

Serenity is not merely being in a beautiful place.

Serenity is living within a beautiful life.

How should the life of a person who hopes for the Land of Serenity be?

It may also be incomplete to think of the Land of Serenity only as a place to be reached in the future.

Because while a person thinks about serenity in the future, they can also shape their present life accordingly.

Not harming another person today,

being honest today,

acting justly today,

respecting another person's freedom today,

growing love today,

turning toward the Creator today,

and being compassionate toward people today

are reflections of the idea of serenity in our present lives.

In other words:

A person who desires the Land of Serenity should try to bring serenity into their life starting today.

Can we establish the Land of Serenity in this world?

To say that we can establish the Land of Serenity itself completely on Earth would be a different claim.

Life in this world continues with its own limitations, suffering, illnesses, deaths, and conflicts.

However, people can create a life in the world that comes closer to serenity.

They can create peace within a family.

They can strengthen justice in a society.

They can allow people to live their beliefs freely.

They can respect different ways of thinking.

They can choose peace instead of war.

They can protect the weak instead of oppressing them.

In this way, we can reflect the meaning of the Land of Serenity not only into the future, but into today's world as well.

Conclusion: How should we describe the Land of Serenity?

When someone asks us:

“Describe the Land of Serenity to me.”

perhaps we should not begin the description with distances, cities, palaces, or gardens.

First, we should say:

The Land of Serenity is a life of serenity in which a person feels safe, love and respect form the foundation of life, freedom is valued, evil does not govern life, and devotion to the Creator has meaning.

We do not know how beautiful the gardens there are.

We do not know what the homes are like.

We do not know what the sky looks like.

We do not know how time flows.

But we can understand the fundamental idea expressed by the Land of Serenity:

Human beings may have been created not merely to exist, but to live in serenity.

Therefore, the most important words when describing the Land of Serenity are:

Peace.

Security.

Love.

Respect.

Freedom.

Justice.

Sharing.

Devotion to the Creator.

And perhaps above all of these, one single thought:

Finding serenity within the life created by the infinite and one Creator.

We can try to describe the Land of Serenity through human experiences in this world; but we cannot claim to know all of it.

Because human knowledge is limited.

The Creator's creation is not limited by human knowledge.

Therefore, perhaps one of the most beautiful things we can say about the Land of Serenity is:

“We do not know everything that is there; but we know what kind of life we long for there.”

And this longing is the search for serenity within the human being.

Poves.

Esenlik.

Esenlik yalnızca kavga olmaması değildir.

Esenlik;

  • korkunun azalması,

  • güvensizliğin ortadan kalkması,

  • haksızlığın bulunmaması,

  • insanların birbirine zarar vermemesi,

  • yalnızlığın acı veren biçiminin sona ermesi,

  • kişinin kendisiyle barışık olması,

  • yaşamın anlamını hissedebilmesi,

  • Yaradan’a karşı içten bir bağlılık taşıması

Belki orada insanın yaptığı şeyler;

Sevdiklerimizle birlikte olabilir miyiz?

Esenlik;

“Esenlik Yurdu” kelimesini yalnızca başka inançlardaki cennet kavramlarının yerine koymak, Povyades'in kendi anlayışını yeterince açıklamaz.

Esenlik Yurdu, öncelikle Povyades'in kendi inanç sistemi içerisinde anlam kazanır.

Benzerlikler bulunabilir.

Ancak her inanç kendi kavramlarını kendi bütünlüğü içinde açıklar.

Peki Esenlik Yurdu'nda neler vardır?

Bu soruya iki farklı şekilde cevap verebiliriz.

Bildiğimiz anlamıyla:

Esenlik Yurdu'nda huzur vardır.

Güven vardır.

Sevgi vardır.

Saygı vardır.

Özgürlük vardır.

Paylaşma vardır.

Barış vardır.

Yaradan'a bağlılık vardır.

bugün Yaradan'a yönelmek,

bugün insanlara karşı merhametli olmak

Esenlik düşüncesinin bugünkü yaşamımıza yansımalarıdır.

Başka bir ifadeyle:

Esenlik Yurdu'nu isteyen insan, esenliği bugünden yaşamına taşımaya çalışmalıdır.

Esenlik Yurdu'nu dünyada kurabilir miyiz?

Tam anlamıyla Esenlik Yurdu'nun kendisini dünya üzerinde kurabileceğimizi söylemek başka bir iddia olur.

Dünya yaşamı kendi sınırları, acıları, hastalıkları, ölümleri ve çatışmalarıyla devam eder.

Fakat insanlar dünyada esenliğe yaklaşan bir yaşam oluşturabilir.

Bir aile içinde huzur oluşturabilir.

Bir toplumda adaleti güçlendirebilir.

İnsanların inançlarını özgürce yaşayabilmesine izin verebilir.

Farklı düşüncelere saygı gösterebilir.

Savaşı değil barışı tercih edebilir.

Zayıf olanı ezmek yerine koruyabilir.

Böylece Esenlik Yurdu'nun anlamını yalnızca geleceğe bırakmayıp bugünkü dünyaya da yansıtabiliriz.

Sonuç: Esenlik Yurdu'nu nasıl tarif etmeliyiz?

Birisi bize:

Huzur.

Güven.

Sevgi.

Saygı.

Özgürlük.

Adalet.

Paylaşma.

Yaradan'a bağlılık.

Poves.
